FAQ on Punchout Accounts and Login (Doc ID 2927279.1)

Goal

The purpose of this document is to answer some questions on the Punchout users and log-in.

  1. When the first instance of PunchoutSetupRequest is invoked a Punchout Account is created for an Organization. Can there be other punchout accounts other than the OOTB-created account?
  2. Is it possible to manually create a punchout user profile and operate as the generic punchout user that the system auto-creates during the initial PunchoutSetupRequest?
  3. Are there options available to assign more roles besides Buyer for the Punchout users?
