Create Consol Action On Flight (Air) Creating Random Dates While Using Frequency in Format of XXXXXXX Through CSV Import (Doc ID 2927283.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 10, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management Cloud Service - Version 22.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

As per standard recommended, while using frequency in format of XXXXXXX instead of Spaces through CSV import, "Create Consol" action on Flight Creating Random Dates.

Expectation is as follows-

1. If the frequency is mentioned as XXXX5XX, consol to be created only for Friday(s)
2. If the frequency is mentioned as X2XX5XX, consol to be created only for Tuesday(s) and Friday(s)
3. If the frequency is mentioned as 1234567, consol to be created for every Weekdays

However, the actual behavior is not in sync with the expectation. For ex: in case of above point #1-

While frequency is XXXX5XX, system is creating consol not only for Friday(s), other random days are also picked up for consol creation.

Note: Spaces on CSV is not working as expected. While saved the file, CSV column value is not getting saved properly; same is not allowed using csvutil and it removes the space before updating the column. Thus the XXXXXXX format was recommended.
