Utlrp/Datapatch Got Stuck While Applying RU on DB home

Symptoms
Utlrp/datapatch hangs indefinitely while applying RU on DB home .Running utlrp.sql manually also was stuck.Please note that datapatch getting hung while running utlrp internally .
