Error "SQLite-Error executing query. Error: Can not get server session ID when there is no remote connection" When Attempting to Checkout a Project to a Local SQLite Database (Doc ID 2932114.1)

Symptoms

When using the Check-In/Out feature to check out a project to a local SQLite database and attempting to Work Offline, P6 Professional will not launch and the following error is received.

EprmDBSQLExecutionFailure in Module PM.EXE at 00000000006B2617. PRM DBAccess Error: SQLite-Error executing query. Error: Can not get server session ID when there is no remote connection.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In P6 Professional open a Project.
  2. Select File > Check Out and check out the project to a local SQLite database.
  3. Select File > Check In and check the project back in.
  4. Select File > Work Offline.
  5. Close P6 Professional.
  6. Relaunch P6, check the box to Work Offline, and login.
  7. Observe the reported error.
