Control Preventing This Error Invoice Date (Doc ID 2934366.1)

Goal

Due to a typing error, we have booked an invoice with invoice date in future: Ie 23/10/2023 instead of 23/10/2022. But, the system didn't throw an error (since the invoice date is greater than the current date).

We tried recreating another invoice by giving the future date but this time we got an error that the invoice date is greater than current date.

Why the system allowed a future date without throwing an error?
