Error "Could not able to parse datamodel xml, it is either corrupted or not valid" When Running Report in BI Publlisher or P6 Web (Doc ID 2935720.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run a report, the following error occurs:

ERROR

Could not able to parse datamodel xml, it is either corrupted or not valid

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to BI Publisher.
  2. Click on Catalog
  3. Navigate to the report.
  4. Click on the report.
  5. Notice error: "Could not able to parse datamodel xml"
