Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

The approval process was not triggered for the custom object

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The customer expects that the approval process will be triggered when a new record is created

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a new record in the custom object
2. The approval notification does not come after a new record is created
