After Unifier Owner Company Shortname and Oracle Cloud URL Change, the Cloud Administrator Cannot See Any Company Users In Primavera Administration (Doc ID 2944285.1)

Last updated on APRIL 25, 2023

Applies to:

Primavera Unifier Cloud Service - Version 23.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Recently, the OCI Cloud environment URL was modified as such: [https://unifier.oraclecloud.com/<oldvalue>] to [https://unifier.oraclecloud.com/<newvalue>]. The company short name was changed from the same <oldvalue> to same <newvalue> as in the URL. Since that change, when the Cloud Administrator logs into Primavera Administration there are very few of the expected users listed.  When filtering by "Primavera Users", there are a few users found, but the only ones displayed were newly created since the environment change. When filtering by All Users, more are displayed, but they are not assigned to any Company, there is no company listed in Primavera Administration for each of these users, so they cannot be updated or administered.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
------------------------------
After the cloud environment URL was changed, the Cloud Administrator still needs to be able to view and administrate all Unifier users.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Unifier.
  2. From the Cloud Portal page, click on Primavera Administration.
  3. In "User Administration" select Filter (User Status)= "All Users", Search a user for company name <newvalue>, there are only a few newly created users found in this company.
  4. The rest of the users can be viewed, but they are not assigned to a company and thus they cannot be modified or administered as needed.
