Goal
Upload an Original image in OCM UI, and plan to use the Original image for Desktop, and Medium rendition for mobile rendering.
What happens is that the narrower Medium rendition has a higher byte size than the wider Original image. Can please provide clarification on the conversion rules, on why this happens?
For example, in OCM UI, upload Original test.jpg (212KB, 1200x1200 dimension), and see auto generated test_Medium.jpg (241KB, 1024x1024 dimension) rendition.
- The Medium rendition is larger in byte size then the Original image
