Goal

As shown below, when Change Price of PO and Receipt and Return the PO are performed in the same procedure, we confirmed cases where Retroactive Price Adjustment is generated and cases where it is not generated depending on the timing of Create Receipt Accounting Distributions.

[Case A]
1. Create PO
2. Receipt the PO for all Qty
3. Run Create Receipt Accounting Distributions
4. Return the Receipt for all Qty
5. Change PO Price
6. Receipt again the PO for all Qty
7. Run Create Receipt Accounting Distributions
8. Retroactive Price Adjustment was generated
[Case B]
1. Create PO
2. Receipt the PO for all Qty
3. Run Create Receipt Accounting Distributions
4. Return the Receipt for all Qty
5. Run Create Receipt Accounting Distributions <=== This part differs from Case A.
6. Change PO Price
7. Receipt again the PO for all Qty
8. Run Create Receipt Accounting Distributions
9. Retroactive Price Adjustment was NOT generated

As shown above, is the behavior that the occurrence of Retroactive Price Adjustment changes depending on the execution timing of Create Receipt Accounting Distributions JOB intended behavior by the system?
If yes, could you please tell me the reason of this difference in detail?
