MS Project Integration Job Failed After Removing Resources Related Mapping Fields From The Business Flow (Doc ID 2946823.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

MSP integration job failed after removing mapping fields from Resources and ResourceAssignments from MSP integration business workflow.

The failed job log shows following exception:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps

  1. Log into OPC.
  2. Navigate to Global Admin > Integrations > Microsoft Project > Export > Edit.
  3. Under Mappings tab->Resource & ResourceAssignments->Delete all mapping fields from these two nodes.
  4. Save and Go to Export Project to MSP xml file.
  5. The export job failed with exception in log.
