Approval Notification Required Approval But The Performance Document Has Been Completed

Symptoms
Explanation of issue:
Manager logs in - Notification still appears and requires the manager to approve the document, even though the document status has been completed. Need to delete the approval notification for these (On Things to finish section or bell notification) after the document is completed.Synchronize Notifications in Global Header" ESS process was ran but did not correct the issue.
Steps to reproduce:
● Used the Mass complete feature (Mass Process Performance Document: How It Works. (Doc ID 2753497.1) to complete the performance documents ● Mass completed worked successfully and now shows Performance doc as complete in transaction Console. ● The final task in the Performance Document was bypassed since it was already completed ● The notification was still sent to the Line-Manager of the employee for their approval
