Symptoms

Payroll Create accounting in warning. User ran payroll process for Period X and submitted create accounting program, but the create accounting program is completed with warning.
User checked create accounting execution report and observed one transaction number (1328351) is in error. This error is related to an invalid account code combination.
Users have cross validation rule (CVR) defined in system which prevent the invalid account code combination in GL. As per CVR cost center X is invalid for BU code Y.
Users verified also the employee assignment and observed the BU code Y was defined earlier, but with effect from DD- MON-YYYY BU code is changed to Z.


ERROR

The account Segment1-Segment2-Segment3-Segment4-000-0000-00000 is invalid. You must review the error: Invalid Cost center for selected BU.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run Create Accounting Process.
2. Provide all relevant parameters with Accounting mode as "Final".
3. Observe the error.
