PRC:PO: Line and Distribution Quantities Are Not Correct When POs Are Imported With FBDI (Doc ID 2952327.1)

Last updated on JUNE 07, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Purchasing Cloud Service - Version 11.13.23.01.0 and later
Oracle Fusion Purchasing - Version 11.13.21.10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When Purchase Orders (PO) are imported through FBDI, the Quantities at the Line and Distribution levels are not correct, but the Quantity at the Lines interface is correct. It appears that the data is imported by overriding the Quantity at the Lines with the Quantity of the Schedules and Distributions.

For example: The system is allowing a PO Line Quantity of 2 and a Schedules Quantity of 50 when the PO is created through FBDI. But on the front end, the Line Quantity shows 50.

The import should throw an error when there is a discrepancy between Quantities in different interface tables.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Import POs through FBDI
2. Quantities on Lines and Distributions are not correct
3. Quantities on the Lines were overridden with the Quantities on the Schedules and Distributions
