The User Preferences For A User Resets to Default Values Within Unifier When User Attributes Updated Via Primavera Administration (Doc ID 2954996.1)

Last updated on JULY 05, 2023

Applies to:

Primavera Unifier Cloud Service - Version 22.11 to 23.5 [Release 22.11 to 23.5]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:

Modifying a user's attributes (e.g. e-mail address) via the Primavera Administration portal, resets the user's User Preferences within Unifier to its default value automatically.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:

A change to the user attributes for any user via the Primavera Administration portal should not trigger a reset to the user's User preferences within Unifier.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Primavera Administration portal
  2. Search for an active user (who has customized user preferences set within Unifier) and update an attribute e.g. user's email address and save.
  3. Log in to Unifier and observe that the user's user preference defaults to the system defined as compared to the customized user preferences that were set earlier.
