Symptoms

On : 11.13.22.10.0 version, Terms Library

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

Need to update hundreds of Clauses in Terms library in order to keep indentations for Contracts but the indentations are getting removed.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------

The indentations must be kept after opening in HTML Preview.

STEPS
-----------------------

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open a contract, go to contract terms.
  2. Click on Terms Actions, remove contract terms.
  3. Add contract terms, search and select any template that contains indentations.
  4. Click on Terms Actions,  Download Contract.
  5. Open the downloaded document; notice how there is an indentation on each of the paragraphs.
  6. Click on Terms Actions, Unlock contract terms.
  7. Expand the clause, select it and edit it.
  8. The clause is loaded into the editor, removing the indentations that were previously put in place.
  9. Added some sample language, click on Done
  10. Again click on Terms Actions,  Download Contract, select 'regenerated contract terms' in the source radio button.
  11. Notice the sample text added, verify that the indentation is gone.
