Symptoms
PROBLEM STATEMENT
-----------------------
• The Public Holiday is automatically populating in two time card periods.
• A Work Day Definition is used using the Start Day as the Spanning Days Rule.
• Users have a work schedule that spans midnight.
For example:
• The holiday is Memorial Day, May 29th.
• The holiday displays on the escape day, May 29, for the time card period of May 22 to May 28.
• The holiday also populates on the next time card period, May 29 to June 4.
• Both holidays are paid in payroll processing.
ERROR
-----------
Submitting the first time card period, May 22 to May 28, results in an error.
"You need to end this entry at overtime day start time and create another entry on the next time card that starts at overtime day start time."
STEPS
-------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Create a time card for the week prior to the holiday on Monday.
2) See the holiday auto-populates on the escape day.
3) Create a time card for the time card period that includes the holiday.
4) See the holiday also populates on Monday.
