(Doc ID 2957760.1)
Last updated on JUNE 26, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Taleo Platform Cloud Service - SmartOrg (Central Configuration) - Version 22A and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
This KM covers how to determine whether a zone's SSO configuration is "Self Service" or "Legacy":
- Legacy SSO: This type of SSO would have been implemented prior to the introduction of self-service SSO. SSO was configured with the customer via an implementation project with Oracle Consulting. Configuration changes require a new consulting project. Maintenance changes, such as SSO certificate changes, are handled via SRs with support.
- Self-Service (Self-Serve) SSO: The customer or consultant (on behalf of a customer) has implemented SSO via the self-service SSO configuration screens and steps. Configuration changes and certificate changes can be handled by the customer.
