Oracle Fusion Absence Management Cloud Service:JAWS Screen Reader does not read out the Absence Types when Creating an Absence (Doc ID 2958762.1)

Symptoms

When using the JAWS screen reader the absence types are not read out correctly so it is impossible for the user to create an absence. Without the screen reader the absence can be entered correctly from:

When using JAWS the following steps are taken:

1. Set the screen reader option from <drop down name menu>/Access Accessibility Settings

2. Tab to the home icon

3. press 'h' 3 times to get to the 'Apps' menu (heading level 2)

4. tab through the options until 'Time and Absences' is heard, click on enter

5. type 'h' until 'Time and Absences' is heard

6. press tab four times to get to the "Add Absence" screen.

7. press h to get to 'add Absence' option

8. click on tab, and keep tabbing through the options.

9. Listen for the prompt "Create absence type edit combo. Select a value. Press Down Arrow Key and then use Enter Key to make selection. To set the value use the arrow keys or type the value."

10. Press the down arrow. JAWS will say:

"Entering popup add absence - time and absences - oracle fusion cloud applications - google chrome. Create Absence type left pairing required right pairing grid. Four suggestions are available."

11. Use the down arrow key which ought to speak the names of the absence type, however, for each option it just says "row" and does not read out the different absence types.
