Deleted Discussion Threads from P6 Web Access Client Are Still Displaying in P6 Professional (Cloud Connect) Client Even after F5 Refresh Data (Doc ID 2959214.1)

Symptoms


ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When an activity's Discussion thread is deleted in P6 Web, the same Discussion thread is still visible in P6 Professional after re-login, opening the same project and viewing the same activity's Discussion threads that will also appear on related Discussion reports.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

For the Discussion threads deleted in P6 Web to also be deleted in P6 Professional Client.

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
  1. User A logs into P6 Web.
  2. User A adds a new activity Discussion thread.
  3. User A stays logged in to P6 Web.
  4. User B logs into P6 Professional Client.
  5. User B updates the same activity's Discussion thread.
  6. User A refreshes P6 Web, which deletes the Discussion thread update from User B.
  7. User B refreshes the Activities page (F5 key or File > Refresh Data).
  8. Notice that both Discussion entries are showing in P6 Professional Client but there is only one item in P6 Web.
