CSV/Excel Import Fails When DE Is Auto-Populated From a Constant Value and NOT Required on the Form

Symptoms
On Unifier: Version 23.5 and 23.6
When the record and/or line item data is being imported/created by way of importing an Excel/CSV file Template - that contains a Data Element (DE) that is Auto-Populated from a Constant Value - and is NOT required on the Form(s) in uDesigner:
Expected Result
The record and/or line item data should be able to be imported/created without incident because an entry for the DE in question is not required on the form.
Actual Result
The upload/import fails and something similar is returned to the error Template file. The examples here are dependent on the name and type of the DE:
- Invalid Effective Date. Value: 07-12-2023. Date Format: MM/dd/yyyy hh:mma.
- X is not a valid value for field: FieldName
- Login User is not a valid Integer value for field: NameOfField
