Error: "Unable to process QR Code" After Scanning a QR Code to Access Unifier Mobile App (Doc ID 2961348.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to log in to Unifier App by scanning a  QR code using the QR scanner on the sign-in page, the following error occurs.

ERROR

"Unable to process QR code"

When using the device's camera to scan the QR code, the device is forwarded to the proper URL.

STEPS

  1. The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
  2. Using an iPhone or Android, open the Unifier App sign-in page.
  3. Select the QR code scanner option on the sign in page.
  4. Scan a QR code.
  5. Receive the error noted above.
  6. Use the normal camera function on the device to scan the QR code.
  7. The device will be forwarded to the correct URL.
