Symptoms
When sending a 'XitemMod' message to change the PRIMARY_UPC_IND from Y to N or N to Y, the message is getting consumed but it is not changing the indicator.
Steps to recreate:
- Send a xitemmod message for item I1, making that item from Primary UPC to non Primary UPC (that is, PRIMARY_UPC_IND>N</PRIMARY_UPC_IND)
- This message is getting consumed by RIB without any error, but it is not changing the primary PRIMARY_REF_ITEM_IND in the system for I1.
- Then send another 'xitemmod; message for I2, making it primary (that is, PRIMARY_UPC_IND>Y</PRIMARY_UPC_IND).
- Observe that the message fails in RIB with the error ([E] Error ORA-00001: unique constraint (RMSXY.ITEM_MASTER_UK1) violated) as there cannot be more than one primary UPC.
