SP Characteristics can’t be configured without a Characteristic Value

When configuring a Characteristic Type to a Service Point Type it won’t allow to configure a Characteristic as ‘Required’ without a Characteristic Value.
The requirement is to set a Characteristic against the SP Type, mark it as ‘Required’ but leave the Characteristic Value blank
