PRC:POZ: Is There a Way to Make Classifications Not Available to Select During the Supplier Registration Process Without It Affecting the Suppliers That Already Exist? (Doc ID 2963999.1)

Goal

Created new Business Classifications for Supplier Registration, but the changes didn't process as expected.

Steps followed:
- Go to Manage Business Classification Lookup
- Disable the active Classifications
- Create the new Classifications

Behavior:
- The existing Suppliers with the old Business Classifications stop showing that Business Classification, and therefore the documents attached to that Classification become unavailable
- Reactivate the old Business Classifications and they appear again

Details:
Also tried to put an "End date" to the Business Classification instead of disabling it, but the same behavior happens.

Is there a way to make Classifications not available to select them during the Supplier Registration process without it affecting the Suppliers that already exist?
