Symptoms

On : 11.13.23.04.0 version, Service Contract

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

For serial numbers which are already shipped and Installed Based asset is created, Standard Warranty Service Contract did not get created.

 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------

Standard Warranty Service Contract must be generated for included warranties for already shipped serial numbers.

 

STEPS
-----------------------

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Enterprise Contracts.
  2. Click on Tasks -> Manage Assets.
  3. Search for a range of serial numbers.
  4. In the results, click on the Asset Number.
  5. Verify that the shipment date has passed.
  6. Open the Contracts tab.
  7. Verify that there is no active contracts.
