Cost Type BP Record Freezes When Adding Line Items

Symptoms
In a Cost type Business Process (BP), users are unable to add line items. When users click on Add from the Line Item tab, then yes in the confirmation window, the loading wheel is shows but never goes away. The line items never get added. This occurs on only on a specific Workflow step.
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Log in to Unifier.
- Navigate to Shell > Affected Cost Type BP.
- Create a record and complete required fields on Upper form and process record until it gets to the problem step.
- Accept the task and navigate to the Line Item tab, and click “Add” then “Yes” for the confirmation pop-up.
- Line items appear to load in background but loading circle continues to spin and user is unable to edit the line items or save the record.
