Zone encryption parameters fail
User requires encryption on the Person Id (CI_PER_ID.PER_ID_NBR). We need encryption only for certain types of ID such as passports and Licence Numbers and not others such as ABN and Medicare numbers. When we attempt to add the "encrypt" parameter "encrypt=[CI_PER_ID, PER_ID_NBR, ID_TYPE_NBR, F1]" to zones it fails with the message "User Filter 2 - encrypt value is invalid" despite the fact that these are the parameter copied directly from the help.
Steps to replicate:
--------------------
1. We are receiving the following error when entering the encryption parameters for the zone parameters.
Zone Parameter Page:
Parameter Name: User Filter 2
Parameter Value : type=STRING label=PID_VAL_LBL xpatch=personIDValue encrupt=[CI_PER_ID,PER_ID_NBR,ID_TYPE_NBR,F1]
Error: User Filter 2 - encrypt value is invalid.
2. We are attempting to copy and update the existing C1-C360Q5 zone.
Zone: Person ID Type/Value
The Oracle help states the following: encrypt=[CI_PERSON,PER_ID_NBR.ID_TYPE_NBR,f1]
3. The encryption feature configuration is
select WFM_OPT_VAL from ci_wfm_opt where wfm_name = 'C2M-ENCRYPT';
--------------------
Q)Can we also obtain what keys are available under the ugbu-server/secrets/system.ks” and their usage/description?
We do not have access to the CCS servers so we cannot access this information.
We are getting errors such as
Upload error to SR:
NJONES - 270b0b11e7b343fa 2023-05-18 15:28:03.283+1000 [56282] ERROR com.splwg.base.api.encryption.ApplicationCryptography Creating a KeyAndMDInfo requires a key, but there is no key under alias 'FOO' in '/ugbu-server/secrets/system.ks'. com.splwg.shared.common.LoggedException: Creating a KeyAndMDInfo requires a key, but there is no key under alias 'FOO' in '/ugbu-server/secrets/system.ks'.
