Shipment Equipment For The Retained Equipment Is Not Removed When Using "Unassign All" Shipment Fleet Action (Doc ID 2969481.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 22, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management Cloud Service - Version 23.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Customer has two specific observations and both are intermittent and not occurring for all the cases.

Observation # 1 :

One Driver has previously assigned a Shipment and Equipment. Here, customer is putting CHECK_INVENTORY for both Source and Destination Locations. Now, customer is executing the shipment.
Now, if the same driver is being assigned to a new shipment, then the driver needs to Drop the Equipment in a nearest drop off location - and this activity creates an entry on S_Equipment table.
Now, if user is applying 'Unassign All' action on the 2nd Shipment, then sometimes, the Driver is being removed, but the entry on S_Equipment table is not getting removed w.r.t the 2nd Shipment.

Observation # 2 :

If user is applying 'Unassign All' action- the status of the Inventory Asset Location is reverted to AVAILABLE, but the SKU_ADJ_QUANTITY_VALUE is still showing as negative in backend. This is also intermittent and not happening for all cases.
This issue is happening more frequent on the scenario where user has Multi-Equipment case.
Note: This 2nd observation is sometimes also clubbed with the 1st observation pointed above.
