23C Release: Process Work Orders Import Via FBDI Fails When Output Item Has Multiple Revisions (Doc ID 2971918.1)

Symptoms

 In 23C, while importing Process Work Order using ‘Process Name’ via FBDI or via Supply Chain Orchestration (SCO), if there are more than one Item Revision records linked to the item on the Work Definition (Process Name) an unexpected error is raised, and ‘Import Work Order’ process completes with warning.


Steps:


i) Import Work Orders via FBDI:

1. Prepare process work order data with Process Name in FBDI file and generate CSV
2. Launch Load Interface File for Import
3. Observe the process completes normal
4. Submit ‘Import Work Orders’ for the batch
5. Observe the scheduled process retries 5 times, then fails
6. The output file shows following message


Batch Level Errors:
The import batch couldn't be completed. Contact your help desk.


ii) Create Work Orders via SCO:
1. Release the planned order in Supply Chain Planning
2. A Supply order is created in SCO (Supply Chain orchestration)
3. The import process is launched implicitly, and the process completes with warning
4. The supply order line in SCO fails and shows message

Batch Level Errors:
The import batch couldn't be completed. Contact your help desk.
