File Format Is Incorrect When Downloading Files After Applying A Workspace Folder Template (Doc ID 2972229.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Workspace folder template has been applied to project level, the file downloaded has no format extension when downloading or checkout the file.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect the download and checkout could download the files with correct format extension after applying workspace folder template to project.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into OPC.
  2. Navigate to Workspace->Folder->Folder template.
  3. Create a folder template and add some files there.
  4. Open one pProject->Folder->Folder list.
  5. Click the gear icon of root folder->Apply template->Select above workspace folder template.
  6. Click gear icon of the file ->Download or Checkout->The file downloaded has no format extension.
  7. If select download as .zip file, then the file downloaded shows in zip file and can be unzip to .docx format.
