RFI Load Suppliers File Upload Action Results In Error With ./uploadCFINFiles/Supplier_Data_To_Upload/Supplier_Contacts.xml (No such file or directory) (Doc ID 2972854.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to uploading suppliers data through the RFI admin UI, the following error occurs:

ERROR

structure A error (see STEPS below)

Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /u01/oracle/user_projects/domains/RFIDomain/../uploadCFINFiles/Supplier_Data_To_Upload/SUPPLIER_DATA.XML (No such file or directory)


structure B error (see STEPS below)

Exception ../uploadCFINFiles/Supplier_Data_To_Upload/Supplier_Contacts.xml (No such file or directory)
java.io.FileNotFoundException: ../uploadCFINFiles/Supplier_Data_To_Upload/Supplier_Contacts.xml (No such file or directory)


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open RFI admin UI > Load Suppliers tab
2. Select Supplier_Data_To_Upload.zip file generated using steps in the RFI Implementation Guide (e.g. version 23 https://docs.oracle.com/cd/B31315_01/2312010/RFI_Implementation_Guide/html/Chapter%202.htm#sthref40 )

NOTE: BOTH the following zip file structures were used:

structure A in the implementation guide

Supplier_Data_To_Upload.zip
  --- Supplier_Data.xml (mandatory)
  --- Supplier_Sites.xml (mandatory)
  --- Supplier_Contacts.xml (optional)


structure B described in Doc ID 2911231.1

Supplier_Data_To_Upload.zip
  Supplier_Data_To_Upload (folder)
  --- Supplier_Data.xml (mandatory)
  --- Supplier_Sites.xml (mandatory)
  --- Supplier_Contacts.xml (optional)

3. Click Upload button

Due to this issue, initial supplier data cannot be uploaded through self service
