Symptoms

In Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), External Database is failing to communicate with existing connector error, even the Database Management is in unknown state and showing connection error.

The database connection is reporting following error(s) : SVC-00001

Following error stack observed from /opt/oracle/mgmt_agent/agent_inst/log/mgmt_agent.log file:

oracle.polaris.core.services.credential.WrongCredentialException: the credential [SQLCreds(<Database OCID>)] is known to be wrong
