Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
New bracket value deletes the previous values
When at the supplier site level, a new bracket value is created, which generates a cost change to apply the new bracket value to all items of that supplier.
Nevertheless, after approving the cost change and after the cost change is extracted, the previous bracket values are deleted and only the new bracket value is displayed in each item.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
The expected result was to see the old brackets plus the newly added bracket at each item.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a supplier site with bracket costing and bracket values.
2. Add the supplier site to an item
3. Insert the bracket costs to that item
4. Go to the supplier site and create a new bracket value
5. Approve the cost change related to the creation of the new bracket value.
6. Run SCCEXT_JOB & SCCEXT_POST_JOB
7. See that the previous bracket structure was deleted and only the new bracket value is displayed for the item.
BUSINESS IMPACT
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, brackets were deleted from items.
