Inventory Adjustment Fails with "Adjustment User exceeds maximum length" (Doc ID 2975290.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create the direct integration testing between SOCS and MFCS for the Inventory Adjustment , the message did not flow to MFCS due to the following error
"
oracle.retail.sim.common.core.SimServerException: Error processing message! [Inbound: false, MessageType: RmsInvAdjustment, BusinessId: SIM#40097]

at oracle.retail.sim.service.mps.BaseSimMessageServiceHandler.buildException(Unknown Source)

at oracle.retail.sim.service.mps.SimMessageProcessHandler.handleOperation(Unknown Source)
..........

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Adjustment User exceeds maximum length.
at oracle.retail.sim.server.integration.publisher.SimMessagePublisherProviderImpl.publish(Unknown Source)

Steps To Recreate
1) Login to SOCS
2) Choose Inventory Adjustment
3) Create Inventory Adjustment transaction from SOCS
4) Complete the inventory adjustment on SOCS
5) Check for the data flow to MFCS
6) Data is still there in mps_staged_message table due to above error.
