OCI Database Management Service : Database Management Pages Reporting UNKNOWN In OCI Console Even After Updating Monitoring User Credentials (Doc ID 2975777.1)

Symptoms

Database Management was enabled and the metrics were collected fine. Suddenly the status turned as UNKNOWN.

Navigating to any of the Database Management pages the following error message is seen:

A problem was encountered: DatabasePasswordExpired: ORA-28001 : the password has expired
If the problem persists, contact Oracle Support and provide the following opc_request_id: <Request_ID>

DB Monitoring user password got expired. So the Monitoring user password was updated with the same password again.
Still the database is reported as UNKNOWN.

Verifying the Connection Status from the Database Management page reports "ORA-01017 - Invalid username and password"
