Exception "Error.UnableToResolveUnknownService" When Importing a User-Specific Activity Layout File in Visualizer (Doc ID 2978274.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to import a user-specific P6 Professional Activity Layout (.plf) file into Visualizer, the following Exception occurs (the issue does not occur when the .plf file is imported as Global or Project Specific):

Code: Error.UnableToResolveUnknownService;
Message: Unable to resolve resolution root Primavera.Venus.DataRepository.Interfaces.IUserSessionRepository from container without scope

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In Visualizer, select Manage Layouts > Import.
  2. Select the desired layout file.
  3. On the Configure Layouts screen, in the Available to field select User.
  4. Click Import.
  5. Observe the reported error.
