Rollback Impairment Fails With ORA-1400 In Rollback_impair_event (Doc ID 2978798.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.13.23.07.0 version, Impairments

When attempting to Rollback Impairments, the following error occurs:

A system error occurred. Contact your help desk. Details: A system error has occurred in the program xla_events_pkg.delete_entity, Unable to perform DELETE on the entity. The entity does not exist.
 Action: Contact Oracle Support for assistance.


FA_IMPAIRMENT_DELETE_PVT.rollback_impair_event

ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into (???)

The module FAPIMP ended with an error.

The module Process Impairments ended with an error.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Process impairment for an asset in a book where there is an association with a secondary ledger.

Run Depreciation.

Determine that the impairment should be rolled back.

It fails with the following messages noted in AFLOG:

FA_IMPAIRMENT_DELETE_PVT.rollback_impair_event

ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into (???)

The module FAPIMP ended with an error.

The module Process Impairments ended with an error.
