Oracle Fusion Learning Cloud: A Learner is Added as a Required Member of the Community But is Not Seen Immediately After Being Added (Doc ID 2979220.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 09, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Learning Management Cloud Service - Version 11.13.23.07.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Redwood Learning Experience has been setup and there is an issue where a person who has been added as a required member of a community, does not immediately show up as a member.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Go to My Client Groups/Learning/Communities
  2. Create a community (of any type)
  3. Name: Test Community
  4. Click on "Membership"
  5. Click on 'Add'/Add Required Member
  6. Choose the person who should be added and click on submit
  7. Message is seen: "The learning assignments will be processed the next time this job is scheduled to run"
The message "The learning assignments will be processed the next time this job is scheduled to run" is not the expected message, the expected message is "New members are being added and may take several minutes". The "New members are being added and may take several minutes" is the expected message because "Process immediately after user saves changes" is ticked for "Learning Assignments Processing" in My Client Groups/Learning/Background Processing.
