Data Element Must Be Unique (Either Shell or Company Level) Condition Is Not Working Properly (Doc ID 2980106.1)

Symptoms

In a Business Process (BP)  added two unique condition (i.e. Document Number must be unique at Company level & Client Document Number field must be unique at Project/Shell level).
When trying to import data in this BP, the following alert is generated: Client document Number / Document Number must be Unique.
When attempting to create new records via csv import the following alert is generated:

ALERT
-----------------------
The value for the Field Document Number must be Unique.
There is another record containing the same value for this field.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the environment
  2. Go to the Shell
  3. Go to the BP
  4. Try to import data in this BP via .cvs
  5. Received error: The value for the Field Document Number must be Unique.
