Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Analytics Cloud - Version January 2023 to March 2023 [Release 7]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

--> When a user tries to delete a dataset, a 500 error is returned in the response, making the deletion unworkable.

--> Even the user with full control over this dataset was unable to delete it.

-->  Reload/re-profile attempts were failed.

--> This is a dataset built on top of a connection that user do not own.

--> Also tested a change ownership on the connection as well (because of the initial errors of the re-profiling) but then it seems the connection is broken (another error showed up regarding the connection not working properly)hence reverted the ownership.

--> Ownership of the underlying connections could not be changed either .
