Fusion UK Payroll: Part-Time Earnings Displayed Incorrectly In MCR (Doc ID 2982496.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 23, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Global Payroll Cloud Service - Version 11.13.23.04.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
According to the MCR Mapping Document, the ‘Part-Time Earnings’ field of the MCR is derived from Salary / FTE. The FTE value of these teachers is ‘0’ but the assignment record just shows nothing in the fields (blank) It should be showing ‘0’.

Because of this, the ‘Part-Time Earnings’ is instead being populated from the ‘Supply Teacher assignment annual salary’ divided by the total of “their ‘main assignment annual salary’ divided by their ‘main assignments part-time earnings’”.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Part Time Earnings should display value '0' instead of blank.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Define employee assignment record
2. Define element entry details
3. Run QuickPay
4. Notice that there are no earnings for their secondary assignment. The MCR data is incorrect as the Part-Time Earnings for the employee were 0
