Symptoms

 Trying to enable Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for a user credentials gives following error code:

Following steps were followed to enable MFA which lead to above error code:

  1. Used Oracle Mobile Authenticator app for this process.
  2. Successfully added a user account to "Oracle Mobile Authenticator" app by scanning the QR code.
  3. After providing/entering the verification code, encountered the above mentioned error code.
