Symptoms
The Evaluate Person IDs for Assignment Rule ESS job is returning a warning. After reviewing the logs, the following error can be seen for one of the OTBI analyses:
extractPersonIdsFromAnalysisUsingSQL exception caught: oracle.bi.presentation.soap.connection.BISoapException: com.sun.xml.ws.fault.ServerSOAPFaultException: Client received SOAP Fault from server: access denied for user to path /shared/Custom/Human Capital Management/Learning/XXXX. Please see the server log to find more detail regarding exact cause of the failure.
Checked the location where access is being denied, but the name of the analysis (XXXX) did not match what was in the OTBI catalog, e.g. in this example it contained an extra space.
