Previously Created Degenerated Dimensions Are Not Working After FAW Upgrade to 23.R3 (Doc ID 2987572.1)

Goal

After upgrades to the recent versions ( such as 23.R3 ), subject areas that were configured with degenerated dimensions do not appear for analysis and workbooks. 

Sometimes the respective Semantic Model Extension steps may show status such as "Applied With Warning" which may have worked in the previous releases, which leads to any new changes not able to be made or merged into the main branch.

This eventually causes errors when using existing analysis and workbooks that were created using those Custom Subject Areas. available for reporting.
