Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

In Visualizer, the Timescale and TSLD results are misaligned due to the lengths of some of the Project IDs and Project Names.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The Timescale and TSLD results should always stay aligned.

The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

  1. In P6 Professional, create 3 new projects and 3 new activities, one for each.
  2. Open Visualizer, create a TSLD and select the 3 projects.
  3. Create a new layout, and on same page click on Options.
  4. Increase the Project finish value by 1 month in the Timescale settings. Leave Project Start as it is.
  5. Click Save and Draw.
  6. Note that the Bars start later in the chart.
  7. Selecting more the projects increases the number of gaps.
