Some Clients Fail To Connect To OCM Instance Failed Due To TLS Certificate Issue Since Nov 2023 (Doc ID 2988693.1)

Symptoms

Since November 2023, some clients fail to connect to OCM server via HTTPS while other clients (e.g. Web Browsers) can access to the server successfully. It says certificate verification is failed during TLS handshake.

For example, a Java application that calls OCM REST API failed to connect to the server with following errors.
