Access Denied Error While Updating Inventory of Segmentable Activity

Access denied error while updating inventory of segmentable job
An access denied error appears while trying to update inventory fields of a segmentable job using plugin update method.
This happens when the master activity and segment belongs to a different resource, and the resource to whom the segment is assigned faces an access denied error.
A synchronization error with a message as access denied from the activity history screen appears.
The error message from plugin screen is "Your request could not be completed, please contact your administrator".

"Your request could not be processed. Please continue working or contact your administrator for assistance."
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. login to dispatch console using credentials
2. Three jobs are created in bucket. Assign one of the jobs to a resource for current date and use the option "move only selected segment"
3. login as techncian using credentials
4. Start the job and open plugin named sample plugin
5. Use the below plugin api payload with correct inventory and activity id ( aid of the segment)

6. Will be seeing a popup "Your request could not be processed. Contact your administrator"
7. Please repeat the same steps with a different job and choose the option "Move all segments".
