OCI Management Agent Service : Agent Installation Fails - Please set your preferred path in JAVA_HOME (Doc ID 2989014.1)

Symptoms

Trying to install the Management Agent using RPM method fails with error "Agent only supports JDK 8 with a minimum upgrade version JDK 8u281 -b02. Please set your preferred path in JAVA_HOME"

[root@<Hostname> opt]# export JAVA_HOME=/opt/jdk1.8.0_281/bin/java; rpm -ivh oracle.mgmt_agent.231002.2043.Linux-x86_64.rpm

Checking pre-requisites
Checking if any previous agent service exists
Checking if OS has systemd or initd
Checking available disk space for agent install
Checking if /opt/oracle/mgmt_agent directory exists
Checking if 'mgmt_agent' user exists
'mgmt_agent' user already exists, the agent will proceed installation without creating a new one.
Checking Java version
Trying /opt/jdk1.8.0_281/bin/java
Trying default path /usr/bin/java
Agent only supports JDK 8 with a minimum upgrade version JDK 8u281 -b02. Please set your preferred path in JAVA_HOME
