ODI ADB Data Server Property "ORACLE.NET.WALLET_LOCATION" Reverts to Default After Edit (Doc ID 2989915.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to update the ORACLE.NET.WALLET_LOCATION property for an ADB/ADW data server in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.4, the property reverts back to the previous value after it is saved.

Instead, it uses a default value is stored in a local user path with a unique number. In a multi-instance environment, the other nodes expecting a specific directory will be unable to reach it and will therefore be unable to run any jobs that use this data server.
